We continue to follow the way of the cross with our Stations booklets and will visit Church with them soon. A special thank you to those of you who joined the class at Mass last week.
We collected 21 snacks for The Nurturing Place in Jersey City. Thank you so much!
We'll read the traditional Goldilocks and the 3 Bears focusing on character, Gg /g/, telling sentences, HF Words: one, two, three, four, five, -ug Word Family: bug, dug, lug, mug, rug, and tug. We'll write about what Goldilocks would have done if the three bears had not returned home. It is really important that you review the Family Pages notes that are sent home every week and write the HF and Word Families on index card and practice. Also, save the booklets that are sent home. They are good for summer review. I hope you are reading for the March Read Aloud.
We will continue to work on money. Please review the name and value of coins with your child. We'll also work on time and see which things take more time then others. We'll write about what we think is the best time of day
It will be fun to run and jump as we try to pop the air out of balloons.
Circus Day is Friday. Be sure that your child has an act ready to perform for Pre-K and first grade.
We will visit the Montclair Art Museum after lunch on Wednesday. There will be gym in the morning so gym suits should be worn. We will return by 3pm.Chaperones can follow the bus. Be in the school lobby no later then 12:30.
Be sure to stop by and see the Faces of Jesus that the children drew as well as their "Math is Me" and "Favorite Things" display.
We'll be taking pictures of them "Caught Reading" in the school. Have your child bring in a favorite book for the picture - by Friday.
Homework: Clown sheet - in your child's folder. Due Thursday.
