As the year comes to an end I'd like to thank all of you for your support and cooperation this year. So many of you helped in so many different ways. I am most appreciative.

(We'll work on Jesus Memory Books this week and note some of the things that we learned. We'll also have the chance to sign each other's autograph books.
Monday is our Read Aloud book party. Your child should come dressed as a character from a book. Seven children will receive certificates for participating in the Read Aloud every month. Great job!
Monday is "Moving Up Day". The children will have a short visit in the first grade classroom and those returning to IHM will receive a summer work packet. Our Read Aloud Book Party will follow. I hope that you've sent in the requested item.
Tuesday is a free dress day - no fee
Our closing Liturgy will be on Wednesday, followed by our final assembly. You're welcome to join us. Report cards will be sent home that day.
EDP will be available each day. Send a note if your child will be going.
Your child should come to school with a backpack every day this week please.
If you see "Mr. Popper's Penguins" this summer, be sure to ask your child how it is the same/different from the book version.
I am sending home a complete list of word families and sentences that include all the sight words. Be sure to practice, practice, practice!
