Welcome to kindergarten at IHM School! I look forward to an exciting year with your child. I ask for your cooperation and support.
School starts on Tuesday, September 6th. You may walk your child into the classroom and help him/her get settled. Be sure that your child wears a name tag. There will be 12:30 dismissal on Tuesday and Wednesday. Extended Day Care will be available. Write a note or EDP on the name tag. Send in a snack and drink for your child. Summer uniforms can be worn. There will be a uniform exchange on "Back to School Night", September 12th.
Thursday and Friday are full days - 3:00 dismissal, so please pack a snack and lunch. Let me know if your child will attend EDP after school.
It would be great if you could send in all requested school supplies, forms and fees. Check the school website for a complete list. It is of the utmost importance that you return the emergency card asap.
Our first days will be spent getting to know each other, becoming familiar with classroom materials, and establishing routines.
Be sure to send your child to school every day with a lunch bag , backpack, and folder. I will send a folder home on the first day. Return all correspondence to the office or to me in the folder. Be sure to label all envelopes and clothing.
You are invited to join us in our opening school Liturgy on Friday at 9:00. Father Dan will celebrate the Mass.
