"We seek forgiveness for doing wrong and forgive those who hurt us."
Matthew 18:35

The children will become more aware of others' feelings and learn how to handle negative feelings. They will realize that Jesus forgives them when they are sorry.

We will read Hide, Clyde, a concept book with focus on main idea, initial and medial short /o/, sentences and fragments, HF words: they, you, of, and -ob Word Family: Bob, cob, job, mob, rob, and sob. We'll enjoy some non-fiction books about chameleons and ask why and how they change.

We'll work on counting by 2's, 5's and 10's. The Smartboard is really great for seeing number patterns.

We'll celebrate Chinese New Year with a feast of white rice, crispy noodles and fortune cookies. Everyone will receive a red envelope as is the custom.

We'll experiment with our buddies to see what materials will dissolve in water and we'll watch mold grow on bread. We're keeping a close eye on the avocado pit that we "planted" in water.
