The children will come to understand that at the celebration of the Eucharist we give thanks to God. They will be reminded of God's many gifts and to offer thanks.
We'll read On the Move, an informational selection. Focus will be on plot, /v/ and /z/, nouns in sentences, and HF words: where and come. I hope that you are reading for the May Read Aloud. Please return the sheet by Tuesday, May 31st.
Our Bag A Book program ends this week. I would love some feedback.
We'll play some paired activity games to reinforce addition concepts before we move on to subtraction.
We'll discuss the meaning of Memorial Day and pay tribute to all those who served.
We'll be going back in time to the land of the dinosaurs. Your child may bring in some things for our "Dino Display". Be sure they're labeled. I could use an extra pair of hands (or more) for help with a project on Thursday, around 2:00. Let me know if you are available.
Homework: What number comes next? Check for it in your child's folder. Due Thurs.
Wednesday: Field Day. Your child will receive his/her tee shirt this week. Be sure it's worn to school. Lunch will be provided for all children. Be sure your child brings a folder and backpack to school.
Thursday: Tag Day, $2.00, free dress.
No school on Friday, May 27th/Monday, May 30th.
