The children will identify ways that Jesus brought joy to people and know that God wants them to be joyful.
We'll read This is the Way We Go to School, fiction, and work on drawing conclusions, Yy /y/ and Qq /kw/, verbs, and HF words where and come.
We'll engage in some games to reinforce the concept of subtraction.
How many kindergarten footprints can fit inside one of T-Rex's? Shoes and socks off, toes in paint and we'll take a count! Thank you to those who volunteered to come in and lend a hand - with the feet.
The first grade assembly will allow us to visit foreign lands. It promises to be a great program. Homework: Dino sheet - in your child's folder. Due: Friday
* Wednesday: Field Trip - field day tee, sneakers, hat/visor, disposable labeled brown bag lunch and extra water. You can also send souvenir money in an envelope labeled with your child's name. Your child should come to school regular time.
* Thursday, June 2nd: Wanna Be Day - Your child may come dressed as what they want to be when they grow up, props included. Any parent who'd like to come in and discuss their job is welcome to do so. Contact me first please.
*Friday, June 3rd - Hats On Day! Sponsored by Student Council. Wear a hat, wild or wacky. A $2.00 donation will be given to "Kids Fighting Cancer".
