"On Easter We Pray Alleluia!"
Father Dan will read the Easter story to us and Mrs. Alberta will lead us in a recreation of The Last Supper. I hope that you can spend some time on Good Friday with your child reading over the Stations booklet. Perhaps a "quiet day" without television and other electronic distractions that clutter our world. Silence is good.
We'll celebrate Spring with an Easter egg hunt and cupcakes on Wednesday. Holy Thursday will be a "quiet" day for us. We'll visit the Stations of the Cross in church and think about Jesus' journey to Calvary.
Thank you for your effort and support with Circus Day. The children were well prepared and did an outstanding job. Bravo! I will display pictures on the hall bulletin board after Easter vacation.
The children did a good job on "Estimation Day". There was a lot of good thinking! The 4th grade buddies were a big help.
Homework: Time for Kids - due Thursday and the form giving permission for your child to participate in the Jumpathon. We'll jump rope for the American Heart Association after Easter recess. Both are in your child's folder.
